5 /5 Jorge Guzman: Hey guys (especially those with older bmw examples such as myself) Im here to let you guys know that this place not only met my expectations, but surpassed them as well! I own a 1991 BMW 325i MTech2 e30 automatic transmission and I wanted to convert it to 5 speed manual transmission. So I asked my friend good friend (who is someone that has been selling e30 for over a decade now) "who can i go to for this type of job who not only would do the job correctly and in a timely manner, but also care for my car while the car is in their hands?". Without hesitation he told me to come check out Sam over at Auto Works in Ft Lauderdale. He assured me not only has Sam performed plenty of 5 speed transmission swaps for him in the past, but that he also takes great care of the cars in his possesion. That is just something so rare these days and i took my friends reccomendation. Sam told me the job would take him just a few days (about 2 days) and he ended up completing the job in a fraction of the time! He was really transparent and helpful with any and all questions I had as well, which I cant rave about enough. Now i am leaving this review as not only a customer that is more than satisfied, but also a customer Sam will have for life! Good car mechanics are 1 in a million these days. I can proudly say Auto Works in Ft Lauderdale is a great place for your car repair needs! As I was there dropping off and picking up my car i saw them working on all kinds of cars not just e30.
