4 /5 Mike Mike: Barnett Family Park is a great place for kids to play! The splash pad is a fun way to cool off, and there’s a separate play area for younger children (up to age 5), which was open when we visited. Unfortunately, the bigger playground was under construction. Overall, it’s a nice, family-friendly park with plenty of space for kids to run around and have fun! Public bathroom was available.

5 /5 T Slush: A great family park with separate playgrounds for young children and older kids. There are plenty of seats, picnic tables and shade with restrooms nearby. Its easy to entertain the youngsters and spend several hours having fun.

5 /5 Silver-san: Here is the center of Lakeland and a very nice place with a huge lake, flower garden and many statues . You can walk around the whole of the lake with comfortable. There is a playground for your kids and a snack bar also. You can watch the City hall of Lakeland and a Lakeland Electric company building that is the highest nearby. Good scenery and you can take a picture in any other direction. Come, with your precious people and relax your life.

4 /5 Mere Moore: Its a nice spot for kids to play. Its lacking a lil in the water park area. No you cant fire up grills. No dogs allowed in the Playground area or water park area. Ive seen where people bring their dog and make them stay outside.Thats just not cool. Go to a dog park if you have a dog.

5 /5 Josiah Kenyon: Very cute park right next to the water. Playground, picnic tables, beautiful trees, shade, splash pads (turned off when I was there 1/9/23). Right near central downtown! Id say definitely worth a stop

The campus has the largest collection of Wrights work in one place, and seeing his vision come to life in so many buildings is truly impressive. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, sharing great insights and stories that added a lot to the experience. Whether youre an architecture enthusiast or just curious, it’s definitely worth the visit. Beautiful design, fascinating history, and a unique part of Florida you might not expect!

The Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art (The AGB) at Florida Southern College - Lakeland Alex J Walker: They have just installed new floors, the whole museum was immaculate and had some incredible pieces of art and sculptures to see and learn about. I especially enjoyed the Four Seasons which has just been restored beautiful.

Florida Air Museum - Lakeland Francisco Gasia: Sure! Here’s a short review in English emphasizing the F-14: ⸻ I recently visited the Florida Air Museum and had a fantastic experience. The exhibits are well-curated and offer a great mix of aviation history and hands-on displays. But by far, the most impressive part of the visit was seeing a real F-14 Tomcat up close. Standing next to such an iconic aircraft was absolutely surreal — it’s a must-see for any aviation enthusiast. Highly recommended!

SUN n FUN Aerospace Expo - Adam O.: Such a beautiful airshow and perfect place to take anyone you know thats remotely interested in aviation all the way to someone who is flying their own experimental aircraft into the field to camp for the week. Aviators in the area cannot miss this annual event. Aspiring pilots or those looking to get picked up by airlines also should come, and come prepared to speak with companies at the career tent. There is great pilot gear, experimental aircraft parts, merch, and of course, the unforgettable airshow and thousands of beautiful aircraft that show up every year. Its impossible to not have fun!

Bonnet Springs Park Welcome Center - Lakeland Manny: This incredible park is a true gem and a source of pride for Lakeland. What makes it even more special is that it was created by the community, for the community. Since its opening just a few years ago, it has rapidly grown and was even ranked the #1 city park in the U.S. within 2–3 years. The park offers fantastic volunteering opportunities, each one not only contributing to its growth but also offering valuable learning experiences. Every detail of the park reflects thoughtful design and exceptional construction.

Common Ground Playground - Lakeland Mike Mike: Common Ground Playground at Edgewood Park is a fantastic spot for kids! It offers plenty of shade, picnic tables, a great play area for children, bathrooms and ample parking. A perfect place for family outings!

Holloway Park - Lakeland Cheryl Bauman: Excellent location to walk your dogs, go on a hike, take wildlife photography, play disc golf, chase your children around, on run some trails! I took my dogs here again recently and had a blast! My only wish is they would stay open until 8PM instead of 7PM since it’s cooler out later in the evening for my pups. There is a lot of parking on the trails, but none that were pavement if that matters for you. This would be a great location for a 5K race. There was a potapotty that I did use and it was clean. There is also a water spigot at the end of the disc golf trail side near the parking area. There is also a little pond that would be a cute place to picnic.
