  • Studer Family Childrens Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart - Pensacola Jasmine Ramirez: My labor experience was ok. The thing that bothered me the most was when it took 4 nurses and about 10-15 minutes for them to get my IV in my arm. I asked one of the older ladies - her name was Connie C. to try somewhere else and she made a snark remark “I can stick you in the boob”. Then she acted offended when I didn’t laugh. She also said my skin was too dark but luckily another nurse saw I was struggling and stepped in. She tried the other arm and got it right away. Then my baby went to the NICU and all of the nurses were wonderful except for one. It was hard for me to stay in the NICU for a long time so I would leave to Sleep and to get food. Without fail at the beginning of her shift, nurse Christina would call me and tell me to come in because my baby was being “difficult”. She said she didn’t want to struggle feeding him bottles and would tell me to come everytime she was on shift. Multiple times she would wake me up at 7am (beginning of her shift) which was irritating because I would stay in the NICU until 1-2am most nights and would barely sleep. One time I went to get lunch and as soon as I sat down to eat she called me and asked what time I would be back because my baby was getting hungry. I had plenty of my breastmilk in their fridge but she didn’t want to “struggle” to feed my baby. NONE of the other nurses had a complaint about my baby except her. They all said he was a saint so I don’t know why she gave me such a hard time. The most unprofessional thing she did was when she saw me outside of the hospital as she was leaving her shift and stopped me and told me how difficult my baby was being. She added so much stress onto my situation and I wish I told a charge nurse about it.
Escambia Community Clinic - Pensacola Samantha Johnson: I’m not sure what the concept of appointment is in this place. Be prepared to wait and then only to be seen for 5 mins. You better have your concerns written down and don’t forget anything.
JDPremium Healthcare, LLC - Pensacola Larry Reeves: New to the area - they were welcoming new patients - went to the appointment at 2:00 - 2:45 they finally called me back for my appointment. Was told the doctor was busy would be another 10 - 15 minutes Typical doctor - doing typical doctor stuff and not realizing other people in the world have things to do in their life. If you have extra time that you would like to waste sitting around - make an appointment here - if you actually have a life go some place else.
Community Health Northwest Florida Adult & Family Care at West Jackson Street - Pensacola Brian H: I was impressed by the genuinely friendly and kind employees. Everyone from the receptionist that squeezed my daughter in for her appointment after a mistake by the 9th Avenue office about my daughters pediatrician changing locations to the nurse and doctor who also arranged for her to be seen. To the professional and personable nurse and doctor that interacted with my daughter. Its important for children to have a positive impression of doctors offices at a young age and I greatly appreciate the efforts and attitudes of the employees.
Baptist Medical Group - Ladies First OBGYN - Pensacola Kayley T: PLEASE go anywhere else if you want to survive. I had Dr Schneider for my pregnancy, her bedside manner was great. However, don’t let that fool you. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I started getting flu like symptoms. I kept calling her office asking to be seen or to go ahead and schedule an induction because I was in so much pain and very ill. They told me no. Ignored my symptoms, and told me that I could go to the emergency room if I needed to. Turns out for the last month of my pregnancy I had very high blood pressure. At my 40 week appointment that they made me wait for I got sent to labor and delivery. Dr. Schneider was not present because she’s off on weekends. I had the on-call doctor in the hospital. Unfortunately, the on-call doctor was busy when it came time to push. I got poked six times in the back by an anesthesiologist that couldn’t get the needle in my back. My blood pressure dropped significantly and I had to be put on oxygen. After my daughter came out mind you I did this all natural, I had to get stitches I was begging the midwife for pain medication. I had just given birth and she’s giving me stitches inside of my vagina. She literally said OK I can give you a Motrin. Have you people lost your mind? My back was in severe pain from getting poked multiple times not to mention I just gave birth. And you wanna give me a Motrin? I was in pain and My blood pressure continued to escalate. I ended up spending a week in the hospital. I was dealing with severe anxiety from bp medication I couldn’t sleep. I was in excruciating pain for the first 24 hours. Dr. Schneider saw me one time at the end for 5 sec to release me to go home. Not to mention, you will be waiting close to four hours for each appointment. I understand having to wait to see a doctor, but there were a lot of times where they would mess up scheduling and I wouldn’t even be called back. That was my last baby!
Urgent Care at Medical Center Clinic - Pensacola Lisa Butler: Alison Ray is a great primary care nurse practitioner. She listened to me and gave thoughtful and non judgmental feedback. I came in surly because the parking lot of the facility is under construction and the complex enormous so getting where you need to be isn’t easy. By the time my appointment was over I was calm and in a much better mood.
Ascension Sacred Heart Primary Care Davis Highway (Suite A) - Pensacola Susan Holmes: Ive been a patient with this practice for quite awhile and I appreciate the care, and honesty, I receive from Ms Angle and the care team! They know their patients and they care about their health! I continue going because I need honest accountability, and encouragement, so I dont return to my 354 lbs! I didnt have the surgery; I wanted to try and do it myself with GODS GRACE and this practice and help! After 8 major operations since "2024" I have been encouraged and directed when I need to rest! Ms. Angle actually discovered I had health issues I wasnt aware of; thanks to my morbid obesity! A thorough exam and a scan and MRI detected cervical and lumbar issues that required attention! You never know whats going on with your own body and if you have concerns then come here! You get care and respect...now...send me questionnaires about other practices in my medical records... I could give you some interesting information..BTW...let Neurosurgery know, after 3 contacts with them, I never got that referral! Send me a questionnaire about them... Id love to explain why Baptist Hospital will be the hospital I choose to have my next cervical/lumbar surgery!
Pensacola Medical Clinic - Dr. Allan Ho - Pensacola Rebecca Kidd: Great staff and clean facility even if not located in the prettiest building. Rosa at the front desk was concise and polite when we called to schedule an appointment - And knew exactly what I was talking about when mentioning the immigration process. When we arrived for our appointment we were greeted quickly and waited hardly any time at all - MUCH less time than I am used to waiting for other local doctors!! Dr. Ho does have a strong accent as I’ve seen mentioned in other comments but that did not keep us from communicating well. He was also concise but thorough when providing information and asked multiple times to ensure we understood him. Cindy was a lot of fun and moves quickly so we almost didn’t notice we’d taken care of everything. In and out of the office within two hours and that included waiting, getting blood drawn, meeting with Dr. Ho, 2 shots, and payment. AND it was cheaper than it would have been at the other doctor we would have had to wait more than a month to see. Thanks Rosa, Cindy, and Dr. Ho for the great experience.
HCA Florida West Primary Care - 12th Ave - Pensacola Lori Mulcahy: They no longer ask for copay day of appointment. They wait a month, send one bill then sell the $30 copay bill to the debt collector, saying the copay was "unpaid" on time!
Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola Medical Office Building - Pensacola Wildjules: Im a non-emergency medical transporter And every single time I pull up here to pick someone up This lady who was a security guard or something Some kind of Director of traffic Its a front door Named Risa She says, has a major problem with me I either have to pull up two feet or pull around and go behind someone thats already back behind me I asked her for what reason why do I have to do go around the circle again? She said youre blocking my entrance and I said but the entrance is over there which was about 30 ft from where she was standing. So I said okay and I drove around again and ended up at the same place as shes pulling my man Im picking up out. And he said hey I tried to stop you but you left. Dont work with the public if youre not going to be nice shes a wannabe police officer that likes to push her weight around and I dont appreciate that every time I come there theres a problem any other person that works there does not have a problem with me parking in front of the building and I dont block the entrance ever.
