1 /5 Mariah Nunez: I have been a patient at Morgan Dental for a couple of years now and after my most recent experience, I couldnt get out of there fast enough.
I went in to get a crown for a tooth I had cracked while eating. The first appointment consisted of prepping the tooth and putting on a temporary crown - went great.
The 2nd appointment was for putting on the permanent crown. My dentist tells me at the end that the crown was seated incorrectly and that we would have to take it off and redo the permanent crown. It was also way too large for my mouth. When I told her this she asked me why I didnt let her know before cementing it. Mind you, they are the professionals and a quick look into my mouth showed the size difference between the rest of my teeth and the one with the crown.
My now 3rd appointment consisted of taking off the permanent crown (not a fun process) and putting on another temporary crown. The assistant was very obviously new and had no idea what he was doing, often asking me what Dr Mini had said. He made the temporary crown, put it in place, etc. and I dont believe the dentist checked his work after. This appointment was a horrible experience. Later that night while brushing my teeth - the temporary crown cracks - it lasted about 6ish hours.
I had to call Morgan Dental and come back in for a 4th appointment to put in a THIRD temporary crown during this process. Their way of rectifying the multiple mistakes and lack of quality in their work was giving me a $50 refund on a service that was about $2000 (about $850 out of pocket after insurance).
My 5th appointment was for my second permanent crown on this tooth. By this point my tooth is sensitive and I am anxious to be done with Morgan Dental. The permanent crown gets put in, all is well and I leave.
Every single appointment I left with the corner of my mouth ripped due to how rough the dentist was with using tools to pull my head to her liking rather than speaking to me like a person and asking me to move. Morgan Dental does not care if you have to take off 3 additional times from work due to their mistakes and a $50 refund is insulting after how this experience was. I will never come back and I advise everyone to find a different office that will prioritize quality over getting as many patients in and out as possible.
