HCA Florida Citrus Hospital Emergency Room - Inverness Lisa Jawan: The worst hospital in Citrus county ! Don’t ever leave a family member alone. They will be nice if a family member is there. I had to spend the night with my mom cause she said they were so mean. I could hear people screaming all night and the nurses wouldn’t even check on the him.
I feel bad cause I know there are some nice nurses there but overall I would never bring another family member there again nor recommend anyone to go to that place.

I can have a decent conversation with them, get advice and feel comfortable. One of the male nurses called me to offer a suggestion and he was very professional. This was our first time at this doctor and we had the best visit. The doctor has such a wonderful bedside manner. He listened and had great input and feel great about everything that was discussed. The check in was super easy and we were taken back right away. The nursing staff and Dr were very professional. They were genuine in the compassion and care given. I wish I remembered the doctors name as she was the best doctor Ive seen in years. I want to also mention nurse Mel B and her coworker, they showed a lot of compassion and i felt they genuinely cared. I will definitely go back. They make me feel like family. You are there for something serious but they make you feel at ease with humor and lots of laughter but extremely professional when it comes to treating your wound. If anyone is ever in a bad mood you couldn’t tell it because everyone wears a smile, I love that. A great Doctor and a great staff. Citrus Primary Care Inverness - Inverness Bill Bloom Sr: Dr Jordan is the greatest. Hes very professional and personable and understands everything that is going on with your health. Also Dr Lopez who is a intern and he was pleasant and professional also. He listened to what I said and did not disapprove with what I had to say about my health and care that I was receiving from my other doctors. I would highly recommend this combo of Drs to everyone for your health needs and concerns. Citrus Memorial Hospital: Berlow Michael E MD - Inverness Chris Michaud: Worst hospital I’ve ever been to. 5 hours and still no answers and my wife came in with chest pains. If it wasn’t for MEL B we prob wouldn’t have been seen. Took 3.5-4 hours before we even saw a doctor. Our nurse went to another position, and told us new nurse would be taking care of us…guess what? She NEVER came in. I literally had to keep asking and asking and the only one who ever had answers was MEL B. Registration was in within 5 minutes. Get your money to pay for what? Staff? Lol charge more I guess, because it’s time for cleanup and hire people who want to work and care about their patients. We asked where a doctor was in mid issue and I was told they were doing shift change. Honestly I should be talking to a lawyer….shift change should be done in phases in an emergency room, McDonald’s doesn’t even do that… fire everyone in charge in management and put people with priorities in the correct order…patients, effective treatment plans and then money. But I’ll get the bill with no discounts for inconvenience or pure lack of patient care and job effectiveness.
