2 /5 Rachel Nieves: My experience with this dental practice was not great. When I made the appointment, I gave my insurance card and asked if they accepted that insurance (repeated myself 3 times), was told "yes." I arrived to my appointment early as usual and they then asked for the card again, at that moment they contacted the insurance to verify. I have never had to pay upfront for my initial visit to a dentist. They requested I pay for the visit and would be reimbursed by the insurance. Then, they take me back for x-rays and tell me I need a deep cleaning. If the dentist spent 5 minutes we me, that would be too much. The financial person comes and informs me that I have to pay an exaggerated amount for the cleaning. This practice needs to print out the patient s treatment and plan and discuss in detail with them. Today, I go for a follow-up and the hygienist tells me about another treatment that cost more money. Deep cleaning should make your gums feel bruised or sensitive, never happened. I have followed instructions from all previous dentist and hygienist to a tee, how bad can my teeth be. I definitely will not recommend this practice.
