The Canopy at Harper Lake - Lake City (FL)

5 /5 Christopher Kemmett: The canopy is a very friendly facility for the elderly. Moving in and moving out as a resident goes very smoothly due to the staff being so kind and generous. They referred our company Moving America to help a resident today. Courtney in the memory care unit was extremely helpful as well as her colleagues. Kelly at the front desk made sure we got in and out quickly and efficiently. And big thanks to Jayda for helping the residents find the help they need. The Canopy is one of the best facilities I have been to through the years. Its a little smaller than some but the staff is very attentive and they work together for the residents.

5 /5 Janet Stiles: We visited my husbands grandmother to celebrate her 100th birthday. The facility is absolutely beautiful. This is definitely not your normal assisted living facility. It was like visiting her at her home. We had a celebration set up in the lobby with lots of family and friends. It was so beautiful. New and old friends came to visit, and the family gathered and enjoyed a picture slide a family member put together for her, and it was displayed on the TV. Staff that stopped by was so wonderful and so professional. The residents came out and visited with our family. You can just tell how happy everyone was here, even the employees. There were residents in the dining area enjoying a nice game of cards, while others were out in the lobby enjoying the show, and there is a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy some sunshine. I would definitely recommend this place for your loved one. They still get the freedom they need without the hassle of dealing with all the everyday chores. I can not say enough great things about this place. When you visit, they do ask that you sign in, but truly, there are no visiting restrictions. The website states 9a to 9p. However, the staff basically said if your loved one wants a visitor at 1am, you can come. They are so accommodating.

There is nothing like a tasty meal and a round of mini-golf to make your loved one feel right at home. Knowing my family is well taken care of will always be my top priority. That is why I would choose the Canopy!

5 /5 Connie: The Canopy is fantastic! Everyone from the executive director to the maintenance staff consistently go above and beyond their required duties. The staff are awesome and made moving day go very smoothly. The food is excellent and the chef caters to your specific needs. The nursing staff are very caring and professional. It is a beautiful and warm place to call home.
