1 /5 Jose David Morles Colmenares: The worst experience for my family. My relative didn’t want to leave this review at first, but after seeing the extent of the damage, I can’t stay silent.
On Saturday, my family member was in excruciating jaw pain. We called the number listed online multiple times, but no one answered. Desperate because of the pain, we decided to go directly to the clinic, only to find it closed. We had to look for another specialist, and what we discovered changed everything: the doctor had placed the implants incorrectly. Unbelievable!
We had a previous X-ray from another clinic, and the new specialist confirmed that there was no need to extract so many teeth. This was just one mistake in a series of errors that we feel must be listed.
When we first met the doctor, we felt reassured by his Gators badge. However, everything changed when we noticed his broken English and rude, rushed attitude. How could someone with such a lack of humanity have graduated as a dentist? He was literally a “one-minute doctor.” Since my family member is elderly, they probably assumed they would never leave a review.
There were also major inconsistencies with their business hours: they advertise being open Monday through Saturday. Why weren’t they open that Saturday? Why weren’t patients informed? Two Saturdays ago, my relative’s appointment was rescheduled twice. I don’t understand how they manage their scheduling. Misleading marketing.
They couldn’t even handle an emergency — we were expected to wait until Tuesday? What about Monday? Were they closed then too?
They should have at least one native American doctor to provide better communication and care for patients who prefer fluent English and a humane approach.
We feel truly scammed. Over $20,000 for poorly placed implants? My family has previously been treated at Smile Mission in Miami by American doctors, and we expected a similar level of service.
We will definitely seek legal advice to find the best possible solution for both parties.
