    • North Florida Family Medicine - Miguel Tepedino, MD - Lake City Mars Parks: Had this appt scheduled since January. I received a text message before my appointment to check in. I checked in for my appointment on my phone, in the lobby, at 10:30am. I sat right in front of the receptionist. My appointment was scheduled for 11. At 11:30, I walked up to the front desk girl and asked her about my appointment. She told me that we would have to reschedule because my appointment was at 11. I told her I checked in and was sitting right in front of her for an hour, that I had waited a month for this appointment and really need to be seen today. She told me that everyone was too busy. I asked to speak with an office manager, she told me they didn’t have one and would take a message for the doctor and then scheduled me out to April. I sat, directly in front of this girl for an hour waiting for my appointment, after I checked in on my phone. Why not say something to the person if the check in didn’t go through? Why not acknowledge the person in general that’s sitting, waiting in your lobby? I was the only person in there, majority of the time waiting. Taking this poor practice as a sign to find another doctor.

    HCA Florida Lake City Hospital - Lake City Rhonda Shoupe: It is truly a wonderful hospital. Dr. Patel is amazing! She immediately spotted a problem with the mixture of meds I am prescribed to take daily. She took one of them away altogether and I was fixed! Great facility is nice and very clean. staff is so very kind, patient and helpful. Only negative is I missed when you used to get a some ice and water with a cup by your bed as well as hygiene products to clean up a little. Over all wonderful place.
    HCA Florida Lake City Imaging Center - Lake City Elizabeth Bell: I called for my mammogram appointment today (9/19) and was told my appointment would be in December. That is ridiculous! 3 months to wait for an appointment. Ridiculous! I’ll be finding another provider.

    Begum Tohmina MD - Lake City Dianna James: Not much to say about her regarding my needs. I mean of bad comments, except for holding your insulin refill unless you go see her. My boyfriend did see her and he’s diabetic and the price of the medication was almost & 300.00 and so he called her to see if the was any other insulin that was cheaper that he can afford and she told him that u must come back in to see me first. That’s ridiculous it’s like see me or nothing.
    Island Doctors - Lake City Miguel A. Rodriguez: Do not recommend them. My dad has been waiting for approval for 2 MRIs that were requested by a neurologist since April 2024. The doctors only approved one. We had to get a second order for the original MRI from the neurologist and delivered it physically because the original was never approved when sent via fax. Now come to find out theyre not approving it because he hasnt been seen by primary. Mt question now is: why did the primary office approve one and not the other since the original request? Why approve one and not the other, especially when a neurologist is concerned about a serious health condition?
    Ernest De Leon, MD - Lake City Mary Mccann: Their great!! On time, Dr. deleon did a great job of informing me of my blood test and results. He seemed pleased with my results. I was very informed! Staff is great! Kim is great on the phone! Overall i was very satisfied with my visit!!

There hasn’t been a time when I needed to see Dr. De Leon when I haven’t been squeezed in to see him. Or if I needed a prescription called in it was done in a fast timely manner. I’m very satisfied and happy.
    Dr. Guy S. Strauss, DO - Lake City John Cathy: Very upset with this office! I went today for my annual appointment to be told “your appointment was canceled.” Receptionist said “they called you 3 times to let you know.” I replied “No, I have had no messages from this Clinic.” The receptionist verified the phone number then asked “is your voicemail full?” No, my voicemail is not full and I got NO voicemail from this clinic. I missed 5 hours of work and had nothing to eat for over 14 hours (for labs) for NOTHING.
