Kathy Loving I previously used a national chain for my dental work. I was very unsatisfied with the results. The final dentures fit very poorly,, even after multiple visits to fix the problem. I always left feeling rushed and not like they cared for the outcome. Dr Cubero and staff are exceptional. They took all the time I needed to feel comfortable. Dr Cubero was able to deliver the results I was looking for. They use the most up to date technology to assure proper fit of dentures, partials, and other dental prothesis. This Dr is definitely not out for your pocket. actually felt at ease there. I usually need twilight gas, but the Hygienist was so wonderful and allowed me to wear my headphones. Dave Deibler Beware! I made an appointment for a routine cleaning and checkup. The first thing they did was take me back for x-rays … never had so many x-rays at a dentist office in my entire life and I’m 66 years old. I was then brought back for what I thought would be a standard cleaning however that never happened. Instead the hygienist just took measurements of my gum line and then the dentist told me that rather than a standard cleaning I would need a special cleaning due to receding gum line … I have gone to the dentist twice a year my entire life and was never told I needed a special (and very costly) cleaning. They then told me that my insurance would not cover the entire cost and I would have to pay almost $400 out of pocket. I declined this cleaning and was told they’d get with my insurance company and try to get the cost covered … promised to get back to me in one or two days (which never happened). Eventually I received a bill for my $40 deductible and showed the charges for x-rays to be $1,750 … and I only have $2,500 coverage for the entire year. All this cost and never even had my teeth cleaned! Lesson learned … find another dental office!

Ty Daugherty I had an excellent experience at Daniels Modern Dentistry. To preface the following: I have had an ongoing issue with odontophobia and also havent visited a dental office since before the covid-19 pandemic. ~5 to 6 years. First encounter with the front office staff was excellent. Vernissia made me feel like a person and not just another patient. During my first patient evaluation visit they took x rays and photographs. (Mari was a gem and was very patient with me throughout this process as well as a lady who name I did not catch, but she was also wonderful). After finally getting to the chair. The hygienist Charles walked me through everything that was an issue step by step with an in depth explanation. After a bit of a wait Dr. Griffith came in and went over what Charles had discussed with me. They proceeded to educate me on what my dental situation is and develop a long term care plan. Luis then came in and explained what things were going to cost and what insurance was going to cover. Part of the wait time involved was dealing with insurance. I thought this was important because they were very transparent on the cost of things. After that was taken care of, the Hygienist Charles proceeded to begin day 1 of 2 of my deep clean (It was late in the afternoon and there wouldnt be adequate time to do the entire cleaning in the remaining time) I will emphasize that despite it being late in the day he took his time and did not rush. They fit me in the following day for the rest of my deep cleaning. The front office staff the following day was awesome and fun to talk with. They took their time making sure everything was done correctly and that I wasnt being double billed for anything that happened the previous day. Thank you Vernissia & Wendy! Charles took his time and the process did not feel rushed in the slightest. He took the time to answer my questions and make sure I was comfortable during the cleaning. I have some more work to be done soon the coming days and will update accordingly. But this is the best dental office Ive ever been to. TL;DR Front office staff that I met: Vernissia, Wendy, & Luis were great. X-ray tech: Mari was wonderful and very patient. Dental assistant: Lady whose name I didnt catch but who was wonderful as well. Dental Hygienist: Charles is the best Dental Hygienist Ive ever had and I want him to know it! Very attentive with his cleaning. Dentist: Dr. Tyler Griffith, understood my odontophobia and got really in depth with asking me about my dental history, made sure to check in and explain things in-between dealing with two emergency patients who came in.

Brian Steinbaugh I am 55 years old and just had my first tooth pulled, which was cracked. I was very nervous about having a tooth pulled, especially since I wasnt in any kind of pain at that point (yesterday afternoon). Doctor Joseph reassured me she wouldnt hurt me, not even with the shots, and I laughed at her because of all of the stories Ive heard over the years. Long story shorter, she did not lie to me and since I got up this morning have still had no pain. Dr. Joseph and the entire staff was very nice and patient with me. However, due to my recent job change and new insurance, I was informed that Dr. Nash is no longer a provider. I wanted to personally speak with Dr. Nash to inform her of my situation and request a recommendation for another dentist in her network. Unfortunately, the front desk staff refused to let me speak with Dr. Nash, either in person or over the phone. I found this experience to be highly disappointing, as it seemed to prioritize financial interests over patient relationships. I believe the front desk staff, particularly the two ladies I interacted with, could benefit from displaying more empathetic and caring attitudes, even if its just a courtesy. Their demeanor came across as cold and uncaring. Thank you Dr. Nash and technicians for all your service for the past ten years plus. I wish I had the opportunity to speak with you in person, after all these years. However, I was denied that opportunity.

JESSICA JONES I have been a patient at this practice since I was four years old. Dr. Bocanegra and his staff were amazing. The “ownership” and staff have changed and as of today I will be finding a new practice. I received the standard text appointment confirmations that state “ Hello Jessica, this is Porto Fino Dental. We wanted to remind you of your appointment on April 30th at 12:30 PM. Text Yes to confirm. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.” nowhere in any of the appointment confirmation messages does it say if you do not confirm this appointment that your appointment will be canceled. The last text I received from them was Friday regarding my appointment, which I pasted above… Again nowhere does it state that your appointment will be canceled if you do not confirm. So today I get a text stating “ As of right now no Confirmation has been received unfortunately your appointment has been cancelled please give us a call to reschedule this appointment at 239-482-8806, Thank You!” Because I was at work, I responded yes back right away… But when I left work 29 minutes later, I called the office regarding the cancellation message I received… I was told because I did not confirm my appointment. My appointment was canceled and given to another client. I expressed that I don’t agree with that process because nowhere in the message does it say that you have to confirm for your appointment will be canceled, the representative wanted to just argue her point instead of hearing my very valid point. I will be finding another dentist. This office has not been the same since and this was the final straw for me. The doctor himself is great. I appreciated him explaining things and being thorough. He’s very professional.

Surfing Lab Geek Prestige Dental and Laser Care is by far the best in this area. They are very transparent with pricing and do not force you to select all the options and provide you with an opportunity to schedule other procedures at a different time if you are not ready to get everything done the same time. This is the most affordable dental clinic I have seen at least with Aetna insurance compared to other dental clinics in the area. They do not overcharge you with hidden fees unlike my previous dentists. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Tabbita is an excellent dentist. She remembers you and even showed up on a Saturday to help me when I had crushed a tooth for the first time and was enduring a lot of pain in my gums. I was scared to go to my previous dentist for fear of getting overcharged and so I called my brother and he referred me to her. She replaced that tooth after a root canal and it’s been a few years and it is still intact without infection. She truly cares and even did an amazing job repairing my chipped front tooth from a surfing accident a decade ago that other dentists attempted to repair without success. It looks so nice and not artificial because she is so meticulous even with the color matching of your teeth. She’s very honest and gives intelligent advice with your teeth care which shows that she cares about your dental health. The new dental hygienist yesterday was very gentle with cleaning and x-rays and she was also knowledgeable and pleasant. The incoming and outgoing staff are always so pleasant and welcoming and I am always happy when I go there. Thank you everyone at Prestige Dental and Laser Care!

Tre King I had been a patient of Dr Allens and was there in late October. Today I went for a scheduled cleaning and they tied to bully me into getting Xrays when I had some in the last year. A supervisor came into my room and whent on the computer with the hygienist that had cleaned my teeth and were standing a foot away from me but talking like I wasnt even in the room. They kept me there while arguing among themselves when I had asked for a dentist to check my implant from Oct that was loose. In 20 minutes the Dentist never came and after continued dis respect i got up and checked out. I understand why they pushed the X rays, it produces profit! I have recently had 2 chest X rays and a host on my knee and hip and I did want anymore in my body. I will file a complaint with the state licensing board but the message is clear, "sheep get led to slaughter" for so many seniors we are easy prey for pressure tactics in health care. Im sorry but I may be old but my mind is still very sharp and I wont run with the herd. No I will call out unprofessionalism when ever it occurs!

Ed Sauer I picked Dr Hosner from a list of dentists provided by my Humana dental insurance plan. The office is very pleasant and attractive to wait until appointment time As a new patient, I had paperwork to complete before seeing Dr Hosner. My damaged front tooth was repaired to my satisfaction. Dr Hosner was pleasant throughout my visit. I will be returning for a complete exam and cleaning next week.

Tim S I needed a bridge plus a crown plus a deep cleaning called scaling. I had all that done at Dentists of Fort Myers. My new go-to for all dental work that I will have in the future. Dr. Keller is terrific. We moved here 3 years ago and was happy with the dentist we had here but they stopped taking insurance so I did a Google search and found Dentists of Fort Myers. For the scaling, the hygienist Annie, did a terrific job. I was worried that it would be painful after the anesthesia wore off, but it was not. A gentle touch on cleaning of the teeth is appreciated very much.
