Eric Shelton My 2014 FORD F-150 would not start so I had it towed to East Bay Auto Services. Same day the owner called me and said that the truck was starting and running well so he said he would keep the truck overnight and inspect the issue in the morning when truck was cold. He called next morning and told me the truck would not start and that he found the issue and it was a faulty fuel relay and issue with fuel relay fuse. He gave me a very reasonable estimate to replace the parts. Later that day he called and said the truck was ready to be picked up. I was very satisfied because unlike many auto shops he found the problem and fixed it instead of just replacing many parts unnecessarily. Great customer service. Thanks.

Daniel Whitehead I had a great experience at Karl & Sons. I had an engine blow a head gasket 3/25/2025. I was recommended by a friend to have Karl & Sons do the work I wanted. I had an engine drop shipped to them 4/1/2025 and I picked up my running car 4/4/2025. They were great to work with and at a price I thought was fair and I could live with. Thank you Karl and Sons.

kori van houten After a great experience a couple years ago, I had a new problem with my exhaust and called them up for advice because I remembered how honest and fair and just downright friendly Karl was when I went to him before. He remembered the year of my car (2015!) This problem was a bit out of his realm and he admitted it and told me "I could get in there and maybe patch a little to keep you goin, but if I were you Id call Rainbow Muffler and get their opinion. I think you really will need welding and hes the guy for that." Karl was right and Rainbow Muffler fixed me up, doing twice as much work for less than half the quote I had from the dealer. Kind, honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy - LOVE these people.

Justin Lewis Saved me $800. A/C had steadily worsened. Called 7 mechanics near me with at least 4.7 star rating. Two I didnt hear back from at all. Two examined my A/C. Both prescribed a new condenser A/C kit. Four estimates I received ranged from $1200 to $1480. But Fast Auto came in at $1025 with 90 days labor warranty and LIFETIME parts warranty. So I bring it in. I sign the authorization for him to put in the new A/C kit for $1025. Before I go, Jesse asks me, "Would you mind if I looked, just to ensure that you need a new compressor?" I hesitated, almost telling him to not worry about it. "Sure, okay." I get a call a day earlier than he said hed be able to get to it, and he says, "Your car is ready for pickup. Its going to be $260 for, as it turns out, the ECV (also called the compressor control valve) that had gone bad." Fast Auto could have taken advantage and simply done the bigger job for more profit. Instead, they operated with integrity, forthrightness, and honesty, saving me money and allowing me to drive out with 43° F A/C blowing on my face. They not only earned a lifetime customer today, but an advocate. Cheers to the two hard-working, honest men at Fast Auto.

Lou Sicardo I started looking for a good mechanic due to an issue with my son’s vehicle that “no one” could fix, they just kept charging me for other parts that didn’t need replacing. Finally I found an !!HONEST!!! mechanic he found the issue immediately (a bad spark plug) go figure!! I spent hundreds trying to find the issue and it was just a spark plug. Contis Auto Repair has very reasonable prices, quick turnaround, and very knowledgeable about all aspects on any vehicle. I would definitely recommend this Auto shop to all who are looking for a mechanic with morals…Great shop, will be back with my families vehicles for any and all maintenance.

J R This is one of the most unprofessional auto shops Ive ever seen. I took my car here for some alignment work, and the shop owner kept trying to sell me tires that were the wrong size for my car! the tech working on my car for rude and belligerent with me about my presence in the shop, and the space around there is so tight theres barely any room for them to work. This place isnt worth any savings.

Sam Ramos Sadly, another bad write up about a friend(cousin of the owner) referring me to this shop and everything has gone wrong since. I brought my 2016 C7 Z06 to this shop to get the AC blower motor replaced. Shortly after the blower motor job, my compressor went bad and i had that replaced as well. Upon completion of the compressor I took my car. The next morning Im driving to a work function and the front splitter of the car detached and drags at 55 MPH. Mind you this piece was attached perfectly fine when I dropped off the vehicle, they just didnt reattach it properly or at all. Rabih instructs me to bring the car in and he would take care of it, so I did. He then finds a used splitter and paints it some random matte black color when the rest of the pieces are carbon flash colored. As I currently type this review ive had 2 warranty replacements of the blower motor and Im on my 3rd blower and my AC is not blowing. I currently have to kick the passenger floor board to get it going. Im paying a body shop $1k to get the front of my vehicle looking proper again......all in all, stay away from this shop. Im getting rid of my corvette now as all these headaches and still not having AC have ruined that car for me.

Steven Pitruzzello I was impressed by the thorough inspection accompanied by photos of everything they flagged that needed work. They kept me up to date on the progress and even provided a loaner car when my warranty-covered rental ran out. The work was excellent. Sea Star Motel I have used Bill for as long as he has been in business, and recommend to all of my customers at our Motel in IRB. Bill actually came to my house before he was in business and diagnosed why my 1966 Shelby Cobra would not run about 16 years ago.
