  • Emergency Care Center at UF Health Flagler Hospital - St. Augustine Tammy Ann: Good morning, I was a visitor there the other day I think Saturday, and my mom was in room 14. I got my visitors pass and the person in the ER desk opened the door for me. I go in a few feet and noticed a person sitting there with a green/blue scrubs. Not sure what dept she’s from but she looked in her mid 50s and looked Spanish.. I asked her where room 14 was and it looked like she was on her phone talking because she said “hold on” to someone. I didn’t know you can be on your phone. Also when coming out, going back into the ED lobby, I passed through the same area and I can hear Spanish music blasting. I don’t think that’s professional. I see that’s there’s no one in that area but I still think it’s unprofessional to play music loud. I Managed to take pictures of the area and worker that was on her phone and playing music really loud. I wasn’t sure what area she was in.. but as I was leaving, I managed to get these photos
UF Health Primary Care - Greenbriar - St. Augustine Veronica Miller: Choosing a new doctor is so stressful, but we made the right choice! I am so grateful for Dr. Elizabeth Looney Di and her team! She spent quality time with my husband and me, answering questions and explaining medications. She is reasonable and not quick to push expensive or unnecessary tests, while at the same time being very transparent about the risks versus benefits. We both left feeling heard, which says a lot when youre leaving a doctors office!
OMAR MEDICAL, PLLC Primary Care and Weight Loss Clinic in St Augustine, Florida - St. Augustine Leah Adelmann: Been a patient for about 5 months now and was originally referred by a friend. The staff here are amazing! They are very kind and supportive. Dr. Omar is great at explaining things to make it easy to understand nutrition and what my priorities needed to be for weight loss. Because of them, I have had great results so far!
Farghaly Medical, PLLC - St. Augustine Carrie Lam: Hands Down the BEST Doctor! Dr. Farghaly & her staff truly care about their patients. The ladies in the office are helpful & you never feel rushed or unheard. If you’re looking for a thorough doctor, look no further. Highly recommend!!!
UF Health Wellness Center - Flagler Hospital - St. Augustine george sommerer: Not sure where the patient info comes from, or how up-to-date it is, but recently asked about "experience" at cardiovascular rehab that supposedly took place 2 days ago. My husband (the subject of the survey) passed away almost a year ago. Having them ask about his "recent experience" was so insensitive and rude! I found it unnerving to receive this email. Certainly hope they did not submit an insurance claim for rehab session that could not have taken place.
Barros Family Healthcare - St. Augustine otter van pööl: Went there for bad arrhythmia. I was told they worked with my insurance company and everything was good. He seemed nice, told me I should not drink coffee but needed blood work to see what was wrong. I was sent to get blood work somewhere else because they could not do that there. He set up my return appointment 2 weeks later. When I returned I told him I was getting dizzy and a headache that would not go away. I had a headache for a week straight. He told me my blood work looks fine so everything is okay... He then told me he will set up another appointment in 6 months to see how Im doing. He left, he left the room telling the nurse to set up a 6-month appointment for me. I would not recommend this doctor I dont think he paid attention to me, when I asked for the patient summary, there were notes on there we never talked about. The best part of it they were not in network so now Im getting charged over $600 for someone that didnt do anything. The nurse at the front window was polite and caring.
UF Health Neurology - St. Augustine - St. Augustine Niksuniverse80: I just have to give one star because the people who answer the phone are so RUDE and unprofessional. The actual nurse practitioner wasnt too bad herself. But the phone reps give the office a terrible impression.
Dr. Shakira Husain, MD - St. Augustine Paula Drainer: She is a wonderful doctor, just hate having to wait for my medication to be sent electronically every month.. and the wait is getting longer every month now. Last month had to wait a day and a half after my office visit before my meds were sent over to the pharmacy.. wish she would just write mine out on paper.
UF Health Orthopaedics - Flagler Hospital - St. Augustine Rosie117 Halo: I had a terrible experience at this orthopedic clinic. I was there for a follow up appointment but the night before I injured my foot. I told them that it was swollen, bruised and painful. The receptionist said sorry we can’t see you for that. That’s a different doctor so I did go in to see my doctor to follow up on my hip which was fine. I had been discharged from physical therapy and I told him about my foot and he told me that he did not do feet I am so disappointed with the way that I was treated here. Nobody seemed to care about the fact that I had a painful, swollen, bruised foot. They did have plenty of excuses, though as to why the doctor could not see my foot. In fact, the next day, I went to my podiatrist and they x-rayed my foot and it is indeed broken. I felt like there was a lack of empathy in the office at UF orthopedic specialist. It’s hard for me to believe that any doctor that graduated from medical school and specializing in orthopedic medicine could not look at a foot and perhaps prescribe an x-ray and some guidance. Instead, I got sent on my way. I hobbled out of the building and I was told good luck with your foot. Luckily, I am able to advocate for myself and I found another provider, but I will never ever go back to UF Orthopedic Specialists. I felt like the office did not care about me as a person and lack empathy for me. These are not the type of providers that I could develop a relationship with and trust for my care. Next time I will go to Southeast orthopedics. I cannot believe that I have a fractured foot and I could not get the doctor at UF orthopedic specialist to even visualize it.
Doctor James F Connor DO - St. Augustine Christina C: I got a new insurance company & found Dr. Connor’s office accepted it. I called & was able to get an appointment the next week. My first time going to the office was great, it was easy to find & there was plenty of parking available. Inside looked nice & clean. The front desk staff was very nice & easy to speak with. There was very little wait from the time I finished my paperwork to when they called me back. The MA that took my vitals & info was very sweet. I saw Christy the nurse practitioner & she was very nice, asked lots of questions & made sure I understood everything & before ending the appointment she made a point to ask if there was any other concerns I had. Great first impression of this office from beginning to end! I left feeling very happy & comfortable that I’m in good hands with my health concerns.
