1 /5 Lynette Walther: Suffering from extreme pain and gross facial swelling from having a tooth removed four days prior, I was unable to reach anyone at my dentists office, it being a holiday weekend. Rx pain killers and antibiotics I was taking had no effect. So we went to the ER, BUT rather than telling me right away they did not deal with dental issues (as if my mouth was not part of my body!), I waited nearly three hours, never seeing any physician — only a couple nurses who came in to get my details and a scheduling person and a payment collector who asked for a $100-co-payment. Eventually the scheduling person told me there was nothing they could do other than prescribing a pain killer and antibiotics — which I already told them I was using and which did not help. So we left. But as we walked out, a person at the admitting desk yelled out "GOOD LUCK!" And THAT basically was all I got out of spending three hours there.
