They answer the phone, they know what they are talking about, they can give you an idea on price over the phone, they help you right away when you get there-so many good things about this place. They saved me when my battery died- I got it jump started and headed there, they helped me so I didn’t need to park it and have it die. They replaced my battery (after testing it), for a reasonable price, with friendly and fast service throughout the whole experience. You don’t have to convince anyone to help you! Definitely come here if you haven’t tried them, and if you aren’t sure if they can help, give them a call!

Dawn Russell No stars. They suck. I waited 2 hours. They wrote stuff on the invoice they didnt verbally tell me. Like brakes need to be done. We had our brakes replaced a year ago. Now our F-150 is acting up and we have to have it looked at another place. It was fine when I took it in there. Will never to business with them again.

Called here, they got me in right away and discovered the place pr back on a different drain plug. Precision took care of me and made sure everything was right and undamaged. Couldnt recommend them more. Professional and friendly service. And my truck fit.

I called Perrys and they were extremely helpful not only less than the dealer but they had my truck fixed in 2 days so I could get home. I took my car in for damaged transmission.. yes I already knew it was going to either need a rebuild or used transmission.. I got the call last week from Mrs Crystal and she explained that it needed a used transmission.. yall they not only were they honest about what all needed to be done but they also updated me on the progress of my car. They got my car back in around a 2 week period due to needing to find my transmission. They were highly recommend to me and I too highly recommend Perrys Transmission service. Thanks to the great people and service you guys provide. 5 stars all around.

Caleb Chiu Bottom line up front, if you value your life, avoid Pepboys at all costs. Their mechanics are absolutely clueless. If you care to read, here is the chronological breakdown of what happened. Trip 1: I dropped my truck off for an alignment and got a call back the next day saying I needed new upper/lower control arms, ball joints, and inner/outer tierods. They also said I needed to purchase an additional camber/caster adjustment kit before they could align my truck. --- This camber/caster kit is not necessary to perform an alignment on the truck, but it does make an alignment job easier. No big deal, I want the job done right, so I bought that along with the other parts and installed everything myself --- Trip 2: Dropped my truck off again for an alignment, and I also requested that they grease my upper/lower ball joints and tierod ends. When I picked up my truck, the mechanic claimed that he could only partially align the truck. He also "forgot" to grease my ball joints and outer tierod and told me to reschedule for another time. --- Now Im annoyed, because it only takes a few minutes to grease everything up and I had plans to drive to Tampa the next day. I wouldve greased everything myself if I had a grease gun. But no big deal, I planned to stop by the shop right before our trip to get them greased --- Trip 3: Brought my truck back in for a third time to get everything greased, which they did in 30 minutes. Then my wife and I left on our Tampa trip. Half way there when we stopped for gas, I checked the ball joints for shits and giggles, and sure enough, they forgot to grease one of my ball joints. --- At this point, Im livid. When we got back from Tampa, I brought my truck into Crestview Tire for a second opinion, and the mechanics there showed me how Pepboys not only screwed up the alignment, but they also damaged my parts (bent alignment bracket) and didnt even bother to tell me. This is beyond ridiculous and I honestly have never thought that such mechanical incompetency was possible --- To be fair, I went back and asked for a full refund, which they gave me, but they still refused to take responsibility for what they did. If I cant even trust mechanics to do such the simple mechanic tasks, theres no way in hell I would trust them to touch anything else on my truck. Highly recommend that anyone who values quality mechanical work (and their lives) stay away from Crestview Pepboys. Their negligency and incompetency will kill someone one day.

Valerie Powis Huge shout out to Marcus & Zack for saving me this morning. I was out ubering and my splash shield fell off and was dragging around 630AM. I knew pep boys didnt open until 7am and I definitely didnt have an appointment. Zack was so kind squeezing me in and although it couldnt be fixed he removed it for me to put me back on the road. Zack paid it forward to me so I paid it back and treated him & his crew Pounders for lunch. I hope the owners of this location realize what treasures they have working here. The customer service & care was above the charts. I will definitely recommend you guys to my friends & family going forward. Thank you so much for being a ray of sunshine today. I already had a bad day before this happened when my hvac system in my house died on me so this small act of kindness really brightened my day.

Robert Felt Michael went above and beyond helping me with getting four new tires for my BMW X2. I told him I was on a retirement budget and he gave me a great deal. It was very cost-effective. Highly highly recommend these guys. Been here since 2017 and they are the only ones that I go to for new tires or balance my tires or anything that has to do with my tires. I love these guys.

First visit: They did a major timing chain replacement on my F-150 (~$4k). The truck’s been running perfectly since. They communicated clearly, gave a detailed estimate, explained parts availability, and were easy to schedule. They also did a thorough inspection, found a minor unrelated leak, and offered great preventative maintenance tips. Second visit: I had a dragging brake — their mobile service came the same day, replaced my caliper, and had me up and running in no time. I trust them with any vehicle I own and highly recommend them.

Not only was he completely honest and transparent with me, they also understood my financial situation and time constraints. I truly appreciate the integrity. Neil Cato I live in Pensacola, and I normally go to Car City Machine shop for that reason. But I had a weird circumstance a little while back where I just barely had time to get the head off my car and take it to work with me, but I ended up having to work in Crestview that day. Upon recommendation from one of my co-workers, I checked this place out. The staff was extremely helpful, and worked me in on relatively short notice and getting my head resurfaced and checked. I cant recommend these guys enough. If I find myself over in Crestview again and I need some machining done, I wont hesitate to go see them.

Bryan Bridges I was experiencing low compression due to a valve issue. I sent them the head in hopes they would find the problem. From the information that was relayed to me, they found almost no leakage from my valves. I encouraged them to look for a bad cam lobe, valve spring, valve guide, etc. I wasnt informed there was any issue. (I dont believe they gave me the time of day.) After 3 weeks, I picked up my resurfaced head only to find the valve springs (which are different for the intake and exhaust sides) thrown in randomly. Not to mention, the head is littered with metal shavings. I initially went to this place for peace of mind, seeing they have decent reviews. But now Im out $250 and more I have more problems on top of what I had before. I do not recommend this place. Attached is two completely different springs both found on the exhaust side. The left one is round, the right one has sharper edges. Also an obnoxiously long metal shaving waiting to be sucked into the combustion chamber. Further diving into the issue. I have found two camshaft caps without their alignment dowels. I wasnt notified of any missing components. At this point I will be contacting them. Update: They agreed to return half of the money I paid and attempted to help me find the missing dowels. At least they were willing to make things right. So I changed my review from one start to two.

Duncan Burquist I found a screw hanging out of my tire, and while the owner could have convinced me to get a new one (one of the other tire shops I visited said I needed a new tire), he correctly identified that it hadn’t punctured and was able to dislodge it saving me some money. I’m glad I went to crestview tire as they were very honest and good people. When I have real tire issues, I’m definitely going there. 10/10 experience!

Alex Ford We were just passing through on our way home to Oklahoma and the tread gave out on our tire. Went ahead and replaced all four tires. Service = excellent from front desk to technician. The ladies up front were super helpful and got us in same day upon some miracle, and they had all tires in stock that we needed - crazy. The technician was detailed enough to catch a warp in the wheel, luckily nothing crazy but definitely on our radar now. We could tell from the customers coming and going this is a business that families can bring their cars to for generations, really cool to see. Keep up the good work yall! Stephen Mc My mother-in-law recently visited Crestview Tire and Wheels, trusting that she would receive honest and professional service. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. She was told that her rotors were warped and engraved, and that her brake pads were completely worn, requiring immediate replacement. The shop provided a full quote for the supposed repairs, making it sound urgent and necessary. What Crestview Tire and Wheels did not know is that her son-in-law and a trusted colleague both work on vehicles and have access to a home garage setup. After hearing her concerns, we took the time to inspect the vehicle ourselves. To our surprise, the rotors and pads were in excellent condition, appearing nearly new with no signs of warping or serious wear. It’s incredibly upsetting that a shop would try to take advantage of an elderly woman, especially knowing she might not be familiar with the recent maintenance history. It seems like the staff assumed she wouldn’t question the diagnosis and saw an opportunity to upsell unnecessary repairs. We still have the paperwork showing the quote and the alleged condition ratings of the parts. These assessments were clearly inaccurate and misleading. As people who take pride in doing things the right way, it’s frustrating to see businesses like this give honest repair work a bad name. This is not how customers should be treated. Exploiting someone’s lack of knowledge—especially someone elderly—is unethical and unacceptable. Please be cautious and consider getting a second opinion before authorizing any repairs at this shop. I encourage all strangers, friends and family, to always get a second or more opinion.

We live about 10 minutes from Stanton - I base my decisions most of the time on reviews. I totally understand why they are rated so high...not only are they convenient, but they are quick and priced fairly for what they do. The lady in the front is extremely nice and professional. The service guys came out and explained in detail their options and answered all questions patiently for other customers as I waited. Im loyal to great service and people, whether it be a restaurant or service shop, already confirmed that they can do transmission service on my wifes CRV hybrid when it comes due. Eathan S I brought my vehicle here because I had an engine code for a cylinder misfire, they told me they would do a “thorough” diagnosis and determined it was a loose connection. Then proceeded to clear the code. I’m assuming they went for a test drive and the code did not come back immediately. So they called me and told me my vehicle was ready to pick up and only charged me $120. Which is a fair price for the diagnosis & “work performed”. But the next day the code came back and I asked them to fix the actual problem hoping they would acknowledge they never fixed it the first place and put the $120 I already spent towards the next bill. However they declined so I did my own diagnosing, determined where the misfire was, changed the spark plug which actually fixed the problem. I did all this after working a 12/hr shift, me working long hours is the reason I brought it to them in the first place because I just did not have the time. I know $120 is not a ton of money but it certainly was not put to good use. I think a little fairness could have went a long way in this situation.

Thankfully, I got a second opinion two of the parts didn’t need to be replaced, there were no backordered parts, and the total cost is now over $1,000 less and done in two days.
