  • HCA Florida West Surgical Specialists - Pensacola Steven McCormick: Although I believe Dr Tan is a great surgeon and did well resolving my issue some of her staff are atrocious. I’ve never felt so belittled and minimized by a surgeon’s office staff. I felt like Dr Tan was caring and compassionate but her gatekeeper PA Candy, on the other hand, was quite the opposite. Each interaction I had with her was strange to say the least. Even the recovery staff at the hospital agreed with me and couldn’t understand what was going on with her attitude. Almost as if she had some sort of chip on her shoulder or personal issue with me. I’ve had several surgeries in my lifetime and have never been treated this way before. It’s pretty bad when you have to get the office manger involved multiple times to get help with resolving issues that some of the other staff won’t help you with for whatever reason. I truly hope I never require the services of this office or facility again and will be sure to go elsewhere at all costs. They seriously need to look at their staff to figure out why they can’t be a little more compassionate and understanding. Rather than jump to some sort of preconceived conclusions and be so dismissive of how someone feels. The patient should have the say when it comes to whether or not they are fully healed versus being told flat out that you are completely and totally at 100 percent. This is by far the strangest interaction I’ve ever had with medical professionals.
HCA Florida West Primary Care - Pine Forest - Pensacola Miranda Lee: Heather Murray is the absolute best!!! I cannot say that enough. Every problem Ive had shes always tackled it head on, no hesitation, and has always offered the best. Literally the best Primary Ive ever had. She listens to every problem, even takes in the small details Ive previously had overlooked. Ive always had doctors that would blow me off and treat me like I was young and couldnt possible have any problems and I was just overweight and that was the cause of my problem. She appropriately addresses every problem and concern I had. And she is willing to fight to get whatever you need/want. I truly cant thank her enough for everything shes helped me with!
Rheumatology at Medical Center Clinic - Pensacola Lori Seasholtz: I love this practice, they are very caring and knowledgeable. Dr Kachur is an awesome Dr. So easy to talk to because she really listens and explains everything. So glad I found this office.
Florida Department of Health in Escambia County - Pensacola Jessica Thomas: Whomever answered my phone call on 12/4/24, which a half introduction, and ghetto tone, please fire her and replace her. It is one thing to answer a phone call in the manner she did, but to handle a person in the manner that I was handled was very unnecessary and ending the entire phone call with, WELL IT’S UP TO YOU, was not needed. She needs either better training or a different occupation. Unlike a few people I see that come through that door, I’m nothing of the sort and will not be spoken to that way. She showed lack of education, lack of compassion, and lack of professionalism. She by far is a person I would want to be over anything dealing with my information and/or child’s information. She spells out, gossip, rude, less than lower class, and mediocre education. Just generally speaking from the heart
Studer Family Childrens Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart - Pensacola Jasmine Ramirez: My labor experience was ok. The thing that bothered me the most was when it took 4 nurses and about 10-15 minutes for them to get my IV in my arm. I asked one of the older ladies - her name was Connie C. to try somewhere else and she made a snark remark “I can stick you in the boob”. Then she acted offended when I didn’t laugh. She also said my skin was too dark but luckily another nurse saw I was struggling and stepped in. She tried the other arm and got it right away. Then my baby went to the NICU and all of the nurses were wonderful except for one. It was hard for me to stay in the NICU for a long time so I would leave to Sleep and to get food. Without fail at the beginning of her shift, nurse Christina would call me and tell me to come in because my baby was being “difficult”. She said she didn’t want to struggle feeding him bottles and would tell me to come everytime she was on shift. Multiple times she would wake me up at 7am (beginning of her shift) which was irritating because I would stay in the NICU until 1-2am most nights and would barely sleep. One time I went to get lunch and as soon as I sat down to eat she called me and asked what time I would be back because my baby was getting hungry. I had plenty of my breastmilk in their fridge but she didn’t want to “struggle” to feed my baby. NONE of the other nurses had a complaint about my baby except her. They all said he was a saint so I don’t know why she gave me such a hard time. The most unprofessional thing she did was when she saw me outside of the hospital as she was leaving her shift and stopped me and told me how difficult my baby was being. She added so much stress onto my situation and I wish I told a charge nurse about it.
Escambia Community Clinic - Pensacola Samantha Johnson: I’m not sure what the concept of appointment is in this place. Be prepared to wait and then only to be seen for 5 mins. You better have your concerns written down and don’t forget anything.
JDPremium Healthcare, LLC - Pensacola Larry Reeves: New to the area - they were welcoming new patients - went to the appointment at 2:00 - 2:45 they finally called me back for my appointment. Was told the doctor was busy would be another 10 - 15 minutes Typical doctor - doing typical doctor stuff and not realizing other people in the world have things to do in their life. If you have extra time that you would like to waste sitting around - make an appointment here - if you actually have a life go some place else.
Community Health Northwest Florida Adult & Family Care at West Jackson Street - Pensacola Brian H: I was impressed by the genuinely friendly and kind employees. Everyone from the receptionist that squeezed my daughter in for her appointment after a mistake by the 9th Avenue office about my daughters pediatrician changing locations to the nurse and doctor who also arranged for her to be seen. To the professional and personable nurse and doctor that interacted with my daughter. Its important for children to have a positive impression of doctors offices at a young age and I greatly appreciate the efforts and attitudes of the employees.
Baptist Medical Group - Ladies First OBGYN - Pensacola Kayley T: PLEASE go anywhere else if you want to survive. I had Dr Schneider for my pregnancy, her bedside manner was great. However, don’t let that fool you. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I started getting flu like symptoms. I kept calling her office asking to be seen or to go ahead and schedule an induction because I was in so much pain and very ill. They told me no. Ignored my symptoms, and told me that I could go to the emergency room if I needed to. Turns out for the last month of my pregnancy I had very high blood pressure. At my 40 week appointment that they made me wait for I got sent to labor and delivery. Dr. Schneider was not present because she’s off on weekends. I had the on-call doctor in the hospital. Unfortunately, the on-call doctor was busy when it came time to push. I got poked six times in the back by an anesthesiologist that couldn’t get the needle in my back. My blood pressure dropped significantly and I had to be put on oxygen. After my daughter came out mind you I did this all natural, I had to get stitches I was begging the midwife for pain medication. I had just given birth and she’s giving me stitches inside of my vagina. She literally said OK I can give you a Motrin. Have you people lost your mind? My back was in severe pain from getting poked multiple times not to mention I just gave birth. And you wanna give me a Motrin? I was in pain and My blood pressure continued to escalate. I ended up spending a week in the hospital. I was dealing with severe anxiety from bp medication I couldn’t sleep. I was in excruciating pain for the first 24 hours. Dr. Schneider saw me one time at the end for 5 sec to release me to go home. Not to mention, you will be waiting close to four hours for each appointment. I understand having to wait to see a doctor, but there were a lot of times where they would mess up scheduling and I wouldn’t even be called back. That was my last baby!
Urgent Care at Medical Center Clinic - Pensacola Lisa Butler: Alison Ray is a great primary care nurse practitioner. She listened to me and gave thoughtful and non judgmental feedback. I came in surly because the parking lot of the facility is under construction and the complex enormous so getting where you need to be isn’t easy. By the time my appointment was over I was calm and in a much better mood.
