Olivia OBryant I love this place. They answer the phone, they know what they are talking about, they can give you an idea on price over the phone, they help you right away when you get there-so many good things about this place. They saved me when my battery died- I got it jump started and headed there, they helped me so I didn’t need to park it and have it die. They replaced my battery (after testing it), for a reasonable price, with friendly and fast service throughout the whole experience. You don’t have to convince anyone to help you! Definitely come here if you haven’t tried them, and if you aren’t sure if they can help, give them a call!

Dawn Russell No stars. They suck. I waited 2 hours. They wrote stuff on the invoice they didnt verbally tell me. Like brakes need to be done. We had our brakes replaced a year ago. Now our F-150 is acting up and we have to have it looked at another place. It was fine when I took it in there. Will never to business with them again.

David Weidig My transmission went out on my way back to Texas and the dealer was 3 to 4 weeks behind and they were outrageous with there prices. I called Perrys and they were extremely helpful not only less than the dealer but they had my truck fixed in 2 days so I could get home. They were some of the nicest people and honest they even fixed my pinion seal. Honestly I wish there was more shops like them all I can say is thank you

Caleb Chiu Bottom line up front, if you value your life, avoid Pepboys at all costs. Their mechanics are absolutely clueless. If you care to read, here is the chronological breakdown of what happened. Trip 1: I dropped my truck off for an alignment and got a call back the next day saying I needed new upper/lower control arms, ball joints, and inner/outer tierods. They also said I needed to purchase an additional camber/caster adjustment kit before they could align my truck. --- This camber/caster kit is not necessary to perform an alignment on the truck, but it does make an alignment job easier. No big deal, I want the job done right, so I bought that along with the other parts and installed everything myself --- Trip 2: Dropped my truck off again for an alignment, and I also requested that they grease my upper/lower ball joints and tierod ends. When I picked up my truck, the mechanic claimed that he could only partially align the truck. He also "forgot" to grease my ball joints and outer tierod and told me to reschedule for another time. --- Now Im annoyed, because it only takes a few minutes to grease everything up and I had plans to drive to Tampa the next day. I wouldve greased everything myself if I had a grease gun. But no big deal, I planned to stop by the shop right before our trip to get them greased --- Trip 3: Brought my truck back in for a third time to get everything greased, which they did in 30 minutes. Then my wife and I left on our Tampa trip. Half way there when we stopped for gas, I checked the ball joints for shits and giggles, and sure enough, they forgot to grease one of my ball joints. --- At this point, Im livid. When we got back from Tampa, I brought my truck into Crestview Tire for a second opinion, and the mechanics there showed me how Pepboys not only screwed up the alignment, but they also damaged my parts (bent alignment bracket) and didnt even bother to tell me. This is beyond ridiculous and I honestly have never thought that such mechanical incompetency was possible --- To be fair, I went back and asked for a full refund, which they gave me, but they still refused to take responsibility for what they did. If I cant even trust mechanics to do such the simple mechanic tasks, theres no way in hell I would trust them to touch anything else on my truck. Highly recommend that anyone who values quality mechanical work (and their lives) stay away from Crestview Pepboys. Their negligency and incompetency will kill someone one day.

Valerie Powis Huge shout out to Marcus & Zack for saving me this morning. I was out ubering and my splash shield fell off and was dragging around 630AM. I knew pep boys didnt open until 7am and I definitely didnt have an appointment. Zack was so kind squeezing me in and although it couldnt be fixed he removed it for me to put me back on the road. Zack paid it forward to me so I paid it back and treated him & his crew Pounders for lunch. I hope the owners of this location realize what treasures they have working here. The customer service & care was above the charts. I will definitely recommend you guys to my friends & family going forward. Thank you so much for being a ray of sunshine today. I already had a bad day before this happened when my hvac system in my house died on me so this small act of kindness really brightened my day.

Kyle Matissek I’ve used Monkey with a Wrench twice in the last six months and both times the service was excellent — definite five stars! First visit: They did a major timing chain replacement on my F-150 (~$4k). The truck’s been running perfectly since. They communicated clearly, gave a detailed estimate, explained parts availability, and were easy to schedule. They also did a thorough inspection, found a minor unrelated leak, and offered great preventative maintenance tips. Second visit: I had a dragging brake — their mobile service came the same day, replaced my caliper, and had me up and running in no time. I trust them with any vehicle I own and highly recommend them.

Neil Cato I live in Pensacola, and I normally go to Car City Machine shop for that reason. But I had a weird circumstance a little while back where I just barely had time to get the head off my car and take it to work with me, but I ended up having to work in Crestview that day. Upon recommendation from one of my co-workers, I checked this place out. The staff was extremely helpful, and worked me in on relatively short notice and getting my head resurfaced and checked. I cant recommend these guys enough. If I find myself over in Crestview again and I need some machining done, I wont hesitate to go see them.

Duncan Burquist I found a screw hanging out of my tire, and while the owner could have convinced me to get a new one (one of the other tire shops I visited said I needed a new tire), he correctly identified that it hadn’t punctured and was able to dislodge it saving me some money. I’m glad I went to crestview tire as they were very honest and good people. When I have real tire issues, I’m definitely going there. 10/10 experience!

Alex Ford We were just passing through on our way home to Oklahoma and the tread gave out on our tire. Went ahead and replaced all four tires. Service = excellent from front desk to technician. The ladies up front were super helpful and got us in same day upon some miracle, and they had all tires in stock that we needed - crazy. The technician was detailed enough to catch a warp in the wheel, luckily nothing crazy but definitely on our radar now. We could tell from the customers coming and going this is a business that families can bring their cars to for generations, really cool to see. Keep up the good work yall! Eathan S I brought my vehicle here because I had an engine code for a cylinder misfire, they told me they would do a “thorough” diagnosis and determined it was a loose connection. Then proceeded to clear the code. I’m assuming they went for a test drive and the code did not come back immediately. So they called me and told me my vehicle was ready to pick up and only charged me $120. Which is a fair price for the diagnosis & “work performed”. But the next day the code came back and I asked them to fix the actual problem hoping they would acknowledge they never fixed it the first place and put the $120 I already spent towards the next bill. However they declined so I did my own diagnosing, determined where the misfire was, changed the spark plug which actually fixed the problem. I did all this after working a 12/hr shift, me working long hours is the reason I brought it to them in the first place because I just did not have the time. I know $120 is not a ton of money but it certainly was not put to good use. I think a little fairness could have went a long way in this situation.

Bruce Wall I was directed to Macks by the local Dodge dealership to address a VIN lock programming issue with my 2004 Dodge Ram created after a fuse box replacement. An issue Dodge wont, or cant, handle due to the age of the truck. The service at the front desk, and the interaction with the mechanic (Ashley), was exceptional. Friendly, honest and informative from the moment I stepped in the door. Ashley walked me through the diagnostic process, and even fixed an unidentified issue with the ECM at no cost. I highly recommend Macks. They are a small shop providing professional, competent, and very reasonably priced service. Its great to know that shops with this level of integrity still exist. I will not hesitate to utilize them in the future.

Larry Jones I was referred to this shop by a friend of mine I trust. Upon showing up Mark made sure to welcome me and made me feel like I was in good hands. I asked for a specialty alignment on a lowered car and they had no issue giving me exactly what I asked for. The tech, Donovan, did a great job and even took the time to go over components as he made changes. I ended up coming back a few days later to have tires mounted to some new wheels. Donovan again worked on my vehicle as he requested to be my personal tech. He did a wonderful job mounting my 18s without a scratch. Even put on my centercaps uniformly and ensured their fitment was perfect. I love shouting out good shops. This one is that.

Ricardo I’ve taken my 7.3 to other shops in the past and always ended up with more problems or had to go back for something they missed. Took it to Justin’s Diesel once, and now 3 or 4 months later, the truck is still running flawlessly. They did the work right the first time no upsell, no BS, just real diesel expertise. Communication was clear, and they explained what was going on without trying to throw unnecessary parts at it. They brought up a few other concerns, but at that point, I was already feeling defeated from everything I’d been through with the truck. I told them I just needed it running and they respected that, got it done, and didn’t pressure me. Looking back, I actually wish I would’ve had them handle everything they mentioned. Before that, I’d already spent over $9,000 at other shops on temporary fixes that left me broken down again and again. The only thing I had to replace after was the starter and that was on me for leaving the key in and draining the batteries. If you’ve got a 7.3 and you’re tired of wasting time and money, take it to Justin Diesel. I won’t go anywhere else now.

Jimmy Noullet I felt I needed to write this and share my experience today with Justins Diesel and Auto Repair in Crestview Florida. As a fellow automotive service industry employee for my entire career, trust is number one is serving customers. So heres my story. I left New Orleans around midnight headed to Milton to visit a friend that is awaiting a kidney transplant. As I was driving I ran into truck problems reduced engine power at about 3am in the morning, I called around town...extended wait times, remember Im from New Orleans. not local... anyways, Sarah from Justins called me back after leaving a voicemail...immediately handled me, verified I could pretty much be able to get back on the road same day I dropped it off!! excellent service, pricing, friendliness and best of all very honest team!! Thank you for assisting me.
