Greg Savage I am highly upset with John automotive. Back in august of 2021 I supplied brake pads along with other parts to be replaced. I soon found out that the break pads were never replaced. I took my car back up there 2 times after it was supposedly “replaced” informing them what I noticed my front wheels were making a grinding and squeaking noice every-time i pressed on my breaks. Remind you it wasn’t making those noises until I went to them. Both times I went nothing was never resolved. So I took it upon my self to get my uncle who is a certified mechanic to take a look at what is going on he showed me that the pads were the problem and that it was never replace. So, I had to re purchase break pads and paid for it to be replaced. I was charged for labor and the break pads I supplied to them back in august of 2021 was basically stolen from me. As I called them this morning about it the owner and the co worker where very rude, unprofessional, and are giving me a hard time to get me the money they owe me back! If you are a female DO NOT do business with them. They’ll take advantage of the fact that you’re a female and screw you for your money!

Lori Warren 1st off we were told a permit was pulled for our job. It just needed to be printed and hug. However at the end of day 1 when several windows where already roughly replaced the owner of Tommy’s Windows showed up at our house with practically completed paperwork stating permits actually were not pulled and that we the homeowners had to get the permit. After spending hours the next day at the permitting department with the paperwork provided by Tommy’s we were told the contractor didn’t sign everything and that the contractor was to submit not ourselves. Eventually, after many frustrating calls over several weeks to Tommy’s the permits were pulled, but only after the job in their eyes was completed using another contractor’s license. As it turned out Tommy’s wasn’t even licensed in Bay county. As for the workmanship Tommy’s gets a negative zero stars. I had to select one in order to write this review. These people damaged our window casings unnecessarily though-out the entire house and left gaps in both doors they installed. They tried to cover up the damage using caulk and or just left it. They even left old debris, and packing material, caulking over it. The caulk job to seal the actual windows inside and out was beyond horrible! We the owners ourselves spent weeks removing all the caulk and repairing the damage. Also, the wood trim around the doors and windows that they put back in place after installation could be pulled off by hand and or was damaged beyond the norm, which we also removed and ended up replacing and or reinstalling properly. Pictures speaks for themselves. One can not make these accusations up! Be aware thousands of dollars spent and this is what we ended up with! It was a nightmare!

Leann Fifth wheel brake started giving us issues on the interstate. These guys got us in and out. Amazing customer service. I’d give them 10 stars if it were an option.

Patti IsLost I took my Cadillac truck here to have my back brake pads changed yesterday. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The only problem I had is that instead of talking to me and showing me what THEY thought needed replacing. They just replaced them. Didnt ask me if I wanted or could afford the new parts. Besides new brake pads I also got new rotors (Dont know if the old ones could of just been turned) and a new parking brake (I would of said NO to). I ended up having to pay $670.00 for all this. And all I wanted and knew I needed were back brakes. What would of happened if after all this work they did on my truck (that I didnt know about or asked for) and I didnt have the money to pay for it? Would I of had to leave my truck behind till I could pay it all? Would Ive been stuck with no vehicle to get to work on, because they gave me no options of what repairs THEY thought I needed? If you do use them make sure you tell them to check with you first before they presume you want something else replaced! You could get financially set back, like I did.

Ricardo Torres The mileage on the Uhaul 20 foot truck I rented was was actually more than what the paperwork showed. I wound up paying over$40 dollars more. Actual mileage on truck was 52,506 when I picked it up but the paperwork showed checkout mileage as 52,463. I told them about the error and I was told there was nothing they could do. Took a picture of the mileage about 3 miles into the move.

Very unpleasant experience My car was 20 miles away from his shop at his house/junk yard. He could not operate the credit card machine and sent me chasing cash without my car. No cash app or any technology here either.

Luis Cruzado I brought my SUV in to be worked on and left out of town. While I was gone they never called me once about the repairs needed. So when I came back I discovered they worked on the vechile without letting me know so I was stuck with a bill that I could barely pay. I called them to try and figure it out and his response was “ Well the works already done so you have to pay for it” . Not professional whatsoever

chris stoffels We called at 7:09 am this morning to see if they could fix our A/C on our Expedition . We were told to bring it in ASAP and they would do their best. They quickly diagnosed it and got parts in within minutes. I drove away from the shop at 8:30 am with cold A/C working! Fantastic service we are impressed! Skeeter at Finish Line will be our go to from now on.

When I did it had tire light on, need oil changed, new wipers etc. Mrs. Ashley Parrish greeting me when arrived with great customer service, she told me not to worry they will take care of me which they did. They all was very nice, helpful got my car approved from the company so my family could leave there knowing our vehicle was safe to drive will continue my service with them.

Emma Starfish Brought our vehicle here for a new motor. Had no choice. Well, it broke 4 hours into getting it back. Poor job overall, obviously. We were excited there was a 3 year warranty. We brought it back for that when we had a chance. Over a month into waiting, I had the owner yelling at me when we arrived to ask about our car because there was a lack of communication from their end. I asked for any paperwork that he initiated the process to fix our car. He said, "He was going to do it when he wanted." he wasnt communicating with us on when the car will be done. Its been almost 2 months now, and they havent given us any updates, and Ive been looking for a lawyer. The owner was yelling, throwing his hands around like a madman because we showed great need for our vehicle, we never rose our voice once but this man was clapping his hands at me in an aggressive manner. We havent heard a single thing from them since then. 6.5k down the drain due to poor customer service and a terrible owner. If they actually show they care about customers, i might give them a sympathetic 3 stars, but right now its only going to be a 1 star. I wish i could give it none. There was no reason for you to take your anger out on me. If youre that frustrated at people who already paid the full price of your service, then go home and let the good workers take over till you calm down.

Elaina Bush My imaginary car was broke down he fixed it GO HERE HIGHLY RECOMMEND the prices are less than what they should be and people are saying that he doesnt answer calls blah blah but from personal experience from knowing this Wonderfull man he stays with his family and he also has problems with his own automobiles so if he doesnt answer your calls he is probably asleep or working on another customer car or spending time woth family so dont be drama queens yall take that up with Elizabeth Get it?

Jennifer Barber Friday I was making a trip to Orlando to visit a friend of mine. I was traveling from Mississippi and was about 3 or so hours into my drive when my car broke down.. I looked up mechanics around me and Bush’s Automotive was one of the first locations with the best reviews. I called to see if anyone was available to help me as I was stuck on the side of a busy road in an unfamiliar area. For the life of me, I can’t remember the name of the gentleman I spoke with, but he told me that he was heading in my direction already and to give him about an hour. After an hour and a half, I tried calling to see if someone was on their way to me and nobody answered. And nobody ever showed up. So glad after two hours of wasting my time waiting, that I was able to get some help through Mallory Towing with hardly any wait at all.

Kyle Greer I have had good work done here before but I had a very unprofessional experience today. We went in to get brakes and rotors replaced but were refused an itemized bill. The shop tech became very irritated when we refused service without an itemized bill and it is sad that a place that I trusted to have my car worked on previously has become like this. Everyone should always make sure they get an itemized bill before authorizing service and it is also Florida law. *In response to the owner* You still can provide an itemized bill, it being a "package" does not stop you from being honest and transparent. The claim of 781. 90 for normal price is extremely high for 2 rotors and 4 brake pads and to use that to try to justify a "package" in which you cannot itemize the costs seems more than dishonest.

Robert Baldwin This place lies to you. They told me that I needed a ball joints on my truck and quoted me over 400 dollars. I went to get a second opinion with someone I trust and they told me nothing was wrong with them. The only thing wrong was my tire rod. So don’t trust them.

Jenna Nunez The people here are awesome. Had tire trouble, pulled off highway and they were half mile off the exit. Local company that was every bit of friendly and more than helpful. Had me fixed and ready to go in less than an hour. They charged me half of what I was expecting and the gentlemen even helped with completing my insurance claim form for an accident I was in the day prior. The office lady was nice to chat with and the owner was a pleasure too. The dogs were even on point lol Overall I had a very great experience with this business and would recommend to anyone looking for tire repair or just some good company :)

Lisa Lindy Lawrence Tim came out and helped us on a Sunday afternoon ending our 4th of July weekend. He was absolutely a fantastic mechanic. He got us up and running in just two hours. He could have “stuck it to us” on the cost but he was very fair in his pricing. I 100% recommend using Tim and Sons. They are good, honest and reliable!
